Ruben Amorim has told Manchester United fans the key change that he has already noticed in his squad after the Red Devils’ encounter with Bournemouth on Thursday.

The Red Devils travelled to Illinois and Manchester United faced Bournemouth at the Soldier Field in Chicago for their latest Premier League Summer Series match.

Ruben Amorim oversaw a convincing performance from United over fellow Premier League side Bournemouth on the day, with the Red Devils picking up a 4-1 win.

United’s friendly result over Bournemouth now means that Amorim’s men have secured back-to-back wins during their pre-season tour of the United States.

The Red Devils’ US leg of the tour kicked off in New Jersey last Sunday and United beat West Ham in their Premier League Summer Series tie at the MetLife Stadium.

United’s 2-1 scoreline over West Ham in East Rutherford came after the Red Devils’ first match of the pre-season campaign ended in a 0-0 draw against Leeds United.

Ruben Amorim has a clear-cut demand for every Man Utd player and the former Sporting CP boss remains firm on his message

Manchester United impressed with their performance against Bournemouth and the Red Devils were convincing with their attack display on Thursday.

Goals from Rasmus Hojlund, Patrick Dorgu, Amad Diallo and Ethan Williams ensured that United emerged with a comfortable pre-season win at the Soldier Field.

Speaking after the match, United manager Ruben Amorim told MUTV that he could see that the Red Devils were “more competitive” and were much more physical.

“It’s really important because first of all, everyone has to be prepared,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.

“Then I think we improve in the physicality of the game. We are more competitive.

“That is really important and we suffered a lot last season. We had some issues in the corners defending, but we attacked really well.

“So, we have a lot to do, but it’s a good feeling to see the team playing like this.”
