Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane has reacted to Manchester United’s display against Chelsea and was asked if he had made a U-turn on his Premier League prediction.
The 54-year-old Manchester United legend was back in the Sky Sports studio for punditry duties for the broadcaster’s ‘Super Sunday’ Premier League coverage.
Roy Keane was alongside Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher for Arsenal’s 1-1 Premier League draw against Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday.
The 54-year-old legendary former United captain was asked for his two cents on his former side, with United defeating Chelsea 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday.
Both United and Chelsea were reduced to 10 men in the first half at Old Trafford, with Casemiro and Robert Sanchez being sent off in the Premier League clash.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring in the first half for Manchester United before Casemiro doubled the advantage for Ruben Amorim’s men on Saturday evening.
Robert Sanchez received his red card in the opening five minutes, while Casemiro picked up two separate bookings and was dismissed in the first half of injury time.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane admitted that United picked up an “important win” on the weekend, but the Red Devils need to build “confidence” and “momentum.”
“So, United have got to get some foothold or momentum into their season and certainly that’s improving their home form,” he said.
“You still use question marks over the midfielders and defensively or whatever, but you got people like Bruno who can get you out of jail every now and again.
“And obviously it does help when you get a helping hand from Chelsea’s decision-making, particularly from the goalkeeper, but it’s an important win and it just hopefully gets United, particularly new players to the club, when they can win at Old Trafford and then get a bit of excitement going.
“Yeah, this is good. You know, winning gives you that good feeling and certainly the manager would feel better for it because after the [Manchester] City game, listen, we were all there to criticise – it wasn’t good enough.
“But a few wins, a bit of confidence, momentum, and hopefully they can build on that, but [it’s] a long way back, obviously.”

United climbed to 11th place in the Premier League table after Saturday’s result at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils winning two of their opening five league matches.
Keane would double down on his initial prediction for United and the iconic former Red Devils midfielder still thinks Ruben Amorim’s side will finish “eighth or ninth.”
“No, I’m going to stick with what I kind of said at the start of the season,” he continued.
“I still think about eighth or ninth would be decent for United. I really do. Again, you turn up every… you’re not sure what you’re going to get.”
The United legend added: “Obviously, you got again, it helps when the goalkeeper gets sent off and you got people like Bruno, but I still think that’s not enough.
“I still think United are looking at maybe eighth or ninth.”
United will visit the Gtech Community Stadium for their final match in September and the Red Devils will face Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.
