Marcus Rashford just won La Liga with Barcelona but, as things stand, he is set to return to Manchester United this summer.
Under Ruben Amorim, Marcus Rashford was frozen out of the Manchester United squad and he eventually left for Aston Villa and then Barcelona.
This season, Rashford won La Liga, scoring a free-kick in El Clasico to seal his first league title. After the match, Rashford said he wants to stay at Barcelona.
But Barcelona don’t want to pay £26m for Rashford, meaning he is currently set to return to Old Trafford when his loan finishes.

Marcus Rashford evidently does not want to return to Man Utd – There is no way back for him surely?!

How Rio Ferdinand feels about Marcus Rashford returning
Whether or not Rashford should return to Old Trafford has been a hot topic among the United fanbase, and now club legend Rio Ferdinand has had his say.
Speaking on Rio Ferdinand Presents, he said: “I don’t think you can take a step back.
“I don’t think it’s right. I don’t think for everybody it’ll be right. I just I think that that is a ship that’s sailed. That chapter’s closed.
“I think I think in Marcus’ mind as well, he’s just thinking: look at what I’m doing now. I feel great. I’m living in a great city as well. I’ve moved on now.
“I think that I think that’s the way it should stay.”

Sesko, Cunha and Mbeumo rejected clubs in the Champions League to join United, and that is the type of desire and hunger that the Red Devils need in order to return to the top of the Premier League.

Rashford has already made it clear he would rather stay at Barcelona, and that alone is enough to rule out a return.
United do not need a player at the club that doesn’t want to be there, and that would clearly be the case for Rashford.
