Ruud van Nistelrooy only left Manchester United on Monday but the Dutchman is already being linked with another job in England.
It’s all change in the Manchester United dugout once again.
Erik ten Hag was sacked by United in October, leaving fellow Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy to step up as interim boss.
United didn’t seem all that interested in appointing Van Nistelrooy on a permanent basis and quickly moved in for Sporting boss Ruben Amorim.
United appointed Amorim at the start of November but allowed him to continue with Sporting until the international break.
Van Nistelrooy won three of his four games in charge of United but has now departed Old Trafford.

Van Nistelrooy and Rene Hake have both been let go from Amorim’s coaching staff, just months after joining up with compatriot Ten Hag.
Hake is bound to attract managerial interest in the Netherlands soon enough but Van Nistelrooy may be wanted in England.
The Sun claim that Burnley are still interested in Van Nistelrooy despite him turning them down over the summer.
Burnley targeted Van Nistelrooy to replace Vincent Kompany, but he chose a coaching role at United instead.
Burnley appointed Scott Parker over the summer and sit fourth in the Championship table.
Parker has been under fire of late though with his Burnley side struggling for goals since smashing nine in the first two games of the season.
The Clarets have scored just nine goals in the last 13 Championship games despite having a squad many Championship clubs would dream of putting together.
Parker has only lost twice in the Championship, so we would still be stunned to see them making a change unless automatic promotion starts to really move out of reach.
Burnley are just four points shy of the top two as things stand, so any move for Van Nistelrooy right now would be a shock.
Dutch pundit shares Van Nistelrooy prediction
Van Nistelrooy’s availability is seemingly still of interest to Burnley though, just in case they do decide to make a change this season.
Whether the Dutchman would be interested is unclear but some are still predicting a future for him at United.
Dutch analyst Valentijn Driessen has been quoted by FC Update as saying that Van Nistelrooy’s time as interim boss of United means he is well-placed for a return as manager down the line.
“I also think that he has now made the ground fertile to return as head coach,” said Driessen.
The hope is that 39-year-old Amorim will now be United boss for a long, long time, so any move for Van Nistelrooy to return would hopefully only be well down the line.
Another job in England would not be a surprise though with Van Nistelrooy equipping himself well during his brief spell in charge of United.
