Former Manchester United youth prospect Ravel Morrison has found a new club after an extended period as a free agent.
Ravel Morrison is a cautionary tale to Manchester United academy prospects that talent will only get you so far.
Morrison was part of Manchester United’s FA Youth Cup winning side in 2011, alongside Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.
And while he made his first team debut under Sir Alex Ferguson even earlier, in 2010, Morrison did not have the career many expected him to.
United sold Morrison to West Ham in 2012, before his contract expired a few months later, and it has been a difficult ride for the winger ever since.

Ravel Morrison signs for new club
Ravel Morrison, now 31, has been a free agent since his release from US side DC United last year.
In the summer Morrison featured for a PFA team against a Manchester United academy team in a friendly match at Carrington, aimed at helping a group of free agents stay fit and even land new clubs.
Morrison has now found a new club, signing a deal in the United Arab Emirates.
The former Manchester United winger has joined Precision FC, a club in the UAE’s second-tier.
The ambitious club announced: “We are beyond excited to welcome the incredible Ravel Morrison to Precision FC!
“This is more than a signing – it’s a statement, a game-changer for both our club and football in the UAE.
“Known for his electrifying talent and skill, Ravel brings world-class experience and flair that will help our team to achieve it’s goals. This is the start of something extraordinary.”
Morrison will be glad to get back to playing football again, and he is at a club where he is clearly being valued highly, and being treated like a superstar.
This can only help his confidence and happiness, which is going to be one of the principle concerns for him at this latter stage of his career.
