Ralf Rangnick has mixed injury news ahead of Manchester United’s clash with West Ham.
The German told the club’s official website that Cristiano Ronaldo is a doubt with a new injury to his neck which has required treatment after the 3-1 win at Brentford on Wednesday.
There was better news about Scott McTominay, who was outstanding in that victory in west London but had to be replaced with a back problem.
There was also the latest on Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, while it is still unclear whether Jadon Sancho can play after a family funeral on Wednesday.

“Cristiano is a question mark because he has a problem with his neck. He received treatment yesterday for two-three hours and we will have to wait to see how he feels today.
“Edi [Cavani] hasn’t been training with the team yet and will hopefully resume training today and then we’ll take the final decision after the training session today, [around] if he will be available for the game tomorrow.
“Aaron will still be missing. He’s still ill. Jesse resumed back for training yesterday and he will be training today so he should be available for the game.
“According to the medical staff, and I spoke with Scotty myself yesterday, he should be back in training today and I think he will be available tomorrow.”

McTominay’s absence would have been a big blow after his midfield masterclass in midweek and he will be needed to keep tabs on Declan Rice.
Ronaldo would be a major absentee, and scored in the reverse fixture against the Hammers in September, but was not at his best at Brentford.
In light of that, it would be a boost if Cavani was fit to take to the field and offer United a focal point in attack.
Lingard could well be in the squad to face the side he performed so well with last year, but it would be a surprise if he started the game.
Wan-Bissaka’s continued absence means Diogo Dalot will start the game, with Alex Telles on the other side with Luke Shaw also absent.
