Rangnick explains his Manchester United team selection against Brighton
Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick has explained his team selection for tonight’s Premier League clash against Brighton.
The German has made two changes from the side that drew 1-1 against Southampton at the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday.
Paul Pogba has dropped to the bench with Fred, who has returned to the squad after missing the last two games, coming back into the starting line-up.
Anthony Elanga also comes into the side for Marcus Rashford.
Speaking on MUTV, Rangnick said: “[The changes] was about fresh legs, Anthony Elanga did well until the last two games he did not start in.
“Paul Pogba came back after his long-term injury and Fred is fully back in training so I decided to go with that.
“We have to show for 90 minutes our nice face, in the last games we have seen two different faces like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
“We have to show the Dr Jekyll face today.”
Raphael Varane has dropped out of the starting line-up after falling ill and Victor Lindelof has took his place in the starting line-up.
Tom Heaton takes Lindelof’s place on the bench.
