Manchester United will put the drama of transfer deadline day in the rear view mirror with a Carabao Cup semi-final tonight.
United have a 3-0 advantage over Nottingham Forest after last week’s first leg win at the City Ground, with the second leg feeling like a formality.
Do not expect manager Erik ten Hag to take it lightly. Picking a heavily rotated side would send the wrong message, and so United are likely to go strong.
The game kicks off at Old Trafford at 8pm and is broadcast in the UK on Sky Sports.

Predicted Manchester United line-up v Nottingham Forest
In goal it is possible Tom Heaton is selected, however, Ten Hag made his call last week that he wanted first choice David de Gea as his selection. He may not want to signal he is fielding an understrength side, so De Gea could start again this evening.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will continue at right-back, while Tyrell Malacia is also expected on the left, with Luke Shaw still battling illness.
United have a wealth of options at centre-back. Ten Hag could go with the same duo which kept a clean sheet last week, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof.
Midfield options are limited, this game will be too soon for Marcel Sabitzer. Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen are out.
This leaves Casemiro and Fred to start, along with Bruno Fernandes. Kobbie Mainoo and even Zidane Iqbal could be on the bench.
In attack it gets more intriguing. Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial are available. Expect both to be on the bench.
Wout Weghorst will lead the line, with Marcus Rashford also featuring, ahead of Alejandro Garnacho. One change could be on the right, with Facundo Pellistri potentially coming in for Antony.
This would be Pellistri’s first start, and this is as good a time as any, with United 3-0 up from the first leg.
