Erik ten Hag has provided an update on the availability of Scott McTominay, Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial against Nottingham Forest.
Manchester United host Steve Cooper’s Forest at Old Trafford tomorrow night for the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg.
The Red Devils are firmly in charge of the last-four tie having beat the promoted side 3-0 at The City Ground last Wednesday thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford, Wout Weghorst and Bruno Fernandes.
Erik ten Hag provides mixed update on availability of McTominay, Sancho and Martial against Nottingham Forest

With Christian Eriksen ruled out until at least April with an ankle injury following Andy Carroll’s challenge during United’s 3-0 FA Cup fourth-round win against Reading, Brazilian duo Casemiro and Fred are Ten Hag’s only senior central midfield options.
That’s because McTominay isn’t fit enough to return, and the former Ajax manager doesn’t believe the Scotland international will be available for the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday either.
While United may be without our number 39 for our next two matches, there was positive news surrounding the availability of Sancho and Martial.
Speaking via the club media, Ten Hag provided a squad update: “We have some issues.
“I think tomorrow that Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho will return in the game squad, but Scott McTominay will still be absent.
“I think also the next game [against Crystal Palace] he will be absent. We have to see how that process will go. And for the rest, I think everyone is fit.”
The 52-year-old didn’t mention Luke Shaw or Diogo Dalot, so it remains to be seen whether the full-backs will form part of tomorrow’s matchday squad.
Martial has missed United’s last four games having come off at half-time in the 2-1 win against Manchester City.
While Sancho hasn’t appeared since starting against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in October.
