Manchester United have released their new away kit for the 2021/22 season.
It of course displays the club’s new main sponsor TeamViewer, who have replaced Chevrolet.
The design itself is based on the ‘snowflake’ design United wore between 1990 and 1992, which has become iconic.
United’s official website says ‘it’s a celebration of youth, defiance and the next generation… with a little nod to the past added in for good measure too.’
A picture of new signing Jadon Sancho wearing the new kit was posted on United’s Instagram page.
On Twitter, United uploaded a video featuring a host of players including Scott McTominay, Eric Bailly and Mason Greenwood in the shirt.
Alongside the social media posts of the kit on Instagram and Twitter, a more extensive gallery can also be found on the club’s website.
Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba are among the players featured there.
One player we’re still waiting to see in the new shirt is Raphael Varane.
United have announced that they have an agreement in principle in place to sign the French international.
We’re just waiting for him to do his medical before he can be official unveiled as a United player.
Given the fact he’s been in training with Real Madrid for a small part of pre-season and will need to quarantine when he comes to England anyway, there hasn’t been much chance to snap him in United colours.
