With a top-four finish out of United’s hands, it’s time to see what the cream of the academy can do.
Solskjaer may finally agree, or at least is giving serious consideration to it.
Manchester United’s young players were involved in first-team training yesterday, as the Red Devils prepare to face Huddersfield.
Midfielders Angel Gomes, 18, Tahith Chong, 19, and James Garner, 18, were all pictured, along with defender Lee O’Connor, 18.

O’Connor is pictured in the background of the photo above.
Promising young striker Mason Greenwood was not pictured at the training session, which was surprising considering Romelu Lukaku has an injury, ESPN report.
Outgoing defender Antonio Valencia was also a surprise participant in training.

This raises the possibility the Ecuadorian could make one or two final appearances before his contract expires.
