Jesse Lingard does still not have a club after leaving Manchester United.
In June 2022, Manchester United confirmed that Jesse Lingard would leave the club when his contract expired at the end of the month.
He then found refuge in the Premier League, with Nottingham Forest deciding to take a punt on him for a season.
The deal was a disaster for Lingard and he has now been without a club for six months having left the City Ground.

Paul Scholes sends brutal message to Jesse Lingard
In the meantime, whilst Lingard searches for a new club, he’s been training hard to stay in shape. One man who hasn’t taken to this very well has to be Manchester United legend Paul Scholes.
In Lingard’s most rost recent Instagram post, he posts numerous pictures of him training in a gym in Dubai, hoping to regain full fitness and ultimately find his next footballing destination.
Scholes replied to this, with what was a simply brutal message. He said:
‘Are you just gonna **** around in the gym or are you gonna actually play football?’
Wow, Scholesy did not hold back. He was on a bit of a social media rampage last night. But, ultimately – is he correct?
Jesse Lingard needs to revive his career
Lingard is now 31-years-old. He should be enjoying the remainder of his career playing for a side. On his day, he’s a fantastic footballer.
Lingard had been training with Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq earlier this season but no permanent move to Saudi Arabia materialised.
A bizarre report surfaced recently that Lingard has been offered to Barcelona. Nothing has materialised in that department yet.
Plenty of Premier League clubs could do with his services, but his problem simply has to be his ludicrous wages.
After his Forest spell – many probably won’t take the punt. How much longer can Lingard remain without a club?
