France superstar Paul Pogba says he is enjoying playing for Manchester United.
Doubts over Pogba’s future persist because his contract remains unsigned and he is set to become a free agent next year.
Pogba was left on the bench for Wednesday’s Champions League game against Atalanta.
He came on as a second half substitute and helped United to a 3-2 comeback win.
After the game, Pogba spoke positively about United, and about teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in particular.

A hint or just a statement?
Pogba rarely says anything about his future. And this doesn’t quite fit into that category, as technically he is just talking about the present.
The comment about his happiness at United was more out of loyalty to the club currently paying his contract, than anything else.
But this hasn’t stopped Pogba flirting with the likes of Real Madrid or Juventus before.
So it’s hard not to read a little into Pogba’s comments. The Cristiano Ronaldo effect could have an impact.
Ronaldo is a true winner, and Pogba has wanted players of his calibre alongside him at United for a long while. Is he really going to walk away now?

Experiencing big Champions League nights like this must be special for the players like Pogba and Ronaldo, and it will forge a bond between them.
The real significance over Pogba’s contract will come with his actions, rather than his words at this point.
United would prefer he signs a new deal ahead of January to avoid becoming a distraction. But Pogba has shown so far that he works to his own timescale, and many suspect he has no intention of renewing his deal, no matter what he may hint at.
