The reaction of pretty much every Manchester United fan when Paul Pogba was substituted against Leeds was ‘Why, what are you doing?’
Manager Ralf Rangnick proved he knows what he is doing, as replacement Fred went on to score the crucial third goal.

Pogba had been outstanding in the first half, but with United relinquishing the lead, Rangnick felt United needed some fresh legs.
The decision certainly paid off with United going on to win 4-2, with Anthony Elanga scoring a fourth.
Pogba was in good spirits after the game and sent a message out pledging there is plenty more to come from this side.
Bellingham praises Sancho
Jadon Sancho was key to the victory, providing two assists. The winger almost had a third if Anthony Elanga had scored his first chance.
Sancho has been in excellent form over the past few weeks and he was picked out by Gary Neville as man of the match.
He was excellent against Leeds, showing a combination of skill and grit which shows how his game is perfectly suited to the Premier League.
England teammate and his forme Dortmund colleague Jude Bellingham reacted positively to Sancho’s performance, writing ‘on fire’ on his Instagram page.

Sancho was always going to come good
United fans have had to be patient to see the best of Jadon Sancho and now he is finally showing it.
Sancho is still only 21, and it is scary to consider his potential. The young winger is hitting his stride now and is making teams pay.
Anyone who wrote him off is going to end up looking very foolish, already, and over the course of his career to come.
United’s investment could still end up looking like a bargain, and with Atletico Madrid’s defence looking ripe for the picking right now, he could be the decisive player in this week’s first leg.
