Manchester United visit Arsenal this weekend looking to end a run of poor results at The Emirates.
The Red Devils have not won a league away game against the Gunners since 2017, and with Arsenal top of the table, this one is a tough task.
It’s all in the Gunners’ favour right now. They are high in confidence after a win over Tottenham last week, and they see this fixture as key to taking a step towards a surprise title.
Arsenal have had a week to rest, while United played away at Crystal Palace, and saw key midfielder Casemiro pick up a suspension.
But don’t ever write Manchester United off, not with Erik ten Hag in charge.
Pundits tip Manchester United to lose
Two high profile pundits have chosen to ignore United’s strong recent form, and are tipping a first defeat of 2023 for the Red Devils.
Both Paul Merson and Chris Sutton expect United to lose, each predicting the score will be 3-1 to Arsenal.
Merson told SportsKeeda: “With Casemiro suspended for this match, I’m backing Arsenal to win this game.”
Sutton told BBC Sport: “This will be a great game to watch because of United’s threat on the break, but Arsenal are at home and they are playing like they believe they can beat anyone at the moment.”
Earlier this week Sutton had commented that his early season assessment of Casemiro was wrong, where he branded the Brazilian a panic signing, admitting he is one of the best players in the Premier League.
Hopefully he is similarly wrong with his prediction for this game, like Merson – who said earlier this season that Graham Potter to Chelsea would be a better appointment than Erik ten Hag to Manchester United.

Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1 at Old Trafford earlier this season, and records in big home games have been good under Erik ten Hag.
What the Dutchman lacks so far is a big statement away win. He suffered defeat at City earlier this season, and against Chelsea, drew 0-0 when we really should have won.
Ahead of trips to Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle later in the season, it would be great to rack up an away victory over Arsenal.
