Manchester United midfielder Casemiro will be suspended for Manchester United’s match with Arsenal.
The Brazilian was booked in the 80th minute against Crystal Palace for fouling Wilfried Zaha, preventing a counter attack.
Erik ten Hag had taken a gamble selecting Casemiro, who was one booking away from suspension.
He had played well for United, who were leading 1-0 away at Palace at the time.

Erik ten Hag had wanted to take it one step at a time, insisting the match with Palace was too important to rest Casemiro for.
The gamble looked to be paying off, until Casemiro’s lunge, which he felt was necessary to prevent a goalscoring opportunity.
Manchester United face Arsenal at 4.30pm on Sunday at The Emirates. Yellow cards are wiped out after today’s fixture, as it is the 19th Premier League game, the halfway point in the season, however, Casemiro must serve his one-game ban.
The Brazilian has been an integral part of United’s winning run, however, the task against top of the table Arsenal becomes harder without him.
United did beat Arsenal earlier in the season with a partnership of Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen, so not all is lost.
