Benjamin Sesko has scored 12 goals for Manchester United this season, yet Nicky Butt has one major fear over the Slovenian.
After scoring in Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Liverpool over the weekend, Benjamin Sesko has gotten his flowers for a very solid debut season.
Sesko was excellent against Liverpool, holding up play really well and got his goal in an ugly manner, but scored nonetheless.
The goal sees Sesko continue to look like a brilliant signing for United, with 10 goals this calendar year showing his evolution and suggesting he could explode next season.
But Nicky Butt has one fear.

How do you predict Benjamin Sesko’s career at Manchester United will go?
It's early – but let's see your predictions!
Nicky Butt urges Manchester United to sign Benjamin Sesko support this summer
Sesko’s goalscoring since the turn of the year is good enough for him to be the undisputed starting number nine for the foreseeable, but leaving the 22-year-old to do it all himself is a bad idea according to Nicky Butt.
Speaking on The Good, The Bad and The Football on Monday, Butt urged United to sign another striker to aid Sesko, raising the Rasmus Hojlund comparison.
“But what they’ve done with Hojlund was wrong, they brought a young boy in who’s not playing in the Premier League and put all the emphasis on his shoulders as he was going to carry Man United.
“I’m scared they’re going to do that with Sesko. I know Sesko has done really well of late, but they still need to get, look at our heyday, they had four top centre forwards, they need to get another centre forward, a midfielder, a centre back, and a right back.”
Butt is spot on in that leaving Sesko to do everything up front over the course of a season is naive from United. But there is a big difference between him and Hojlund.
To start, Sesko is a much better striker that Hojlund in every single way that matters. But importantly he also benefits from having experience around him in Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo who allowed Sesko to have a slow start.
Expectations will be managed for Sesko next season, as his current form will be tough to maintain all campaign long.
So fears over Sesko struggling are misguided, but United should still be looking for another option merely to help handle the extra games.
Sum up Benjamin Sesko’s debut season for Manchester United in one word…
United can reinforce the striker position for cheap this summer
With Joshua Zirkzee likely to be on the exit list, and Chido Obi not quite ready, United do need a new striker to play second fiddle to Sesko.
United have been linked with some experienced number nines, and recruiting one shouldn’t have to break the bank.
Danny Welbeck could be really cheap given his age and Brighton surely looking to get someone else in for their potential European campaign.
Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski is set to become a free-agent, making him an attractive possibility for the Red Devils.
So it doesn’t have to be a head turning addition, but United can’t expect Sesko to play 60 games next season, he needs help.
