Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens has made a solid start at the club, and continues to earn plaudits.
Senne Lammens kept a clean sheet on his debut for Manchester United against Sunderland, but he has not been able to keep one since.
Despite this run of eight games without a clean sheet, Senne Lammens has not been the problem, he has been an asset, more of a solution for the team than his predecessors.
Ruben Amorim wanted to move on from Andre Onana and bring in competition for Altay Bayindir, and Senne Lammens has proven to be an upgrade.
Lammens is early big praise for his contribution too, after providing assurance to his defenders and the watching fans.

Wes Brown believes Senne Lammens has a bright future at Man Utd
Senne Lammens praised by David May
Former Manchester United defender David May spoke to MUTV during the club’s coverage of the Manchester United vs Wolves match.
May hailed the Manchester United goalkeeper’s performances, and his ‘no-nonsense’ approach.
He explained: “I tell you what he’s been… he’s been absolutely brilliant. He has his distribution, left foot, right foot, takes no real chances.”
“When you watch [Andre] Onana at times, he’s doing Cruyff turns in the box and stuff like that.
“He’s [Lammens] a no-nonsense goalkeeper, but what he is, he’s a very good goalkeeper as well.
“What he does do, he does very, very well. He comes and he demands his box as well, which is great.”
What Paul Scholes said about Senne Lammens before he made his Man Utd debut
Manchester United chose Senne Lammens ahead of bigger names
Manchester United’s data-led scouting department recommended Senne Lammens, and the Red Devils turned down the chance to sign some bigger names.
Gianluigi Donnarumma was available along with Emiliano Martinez, and despite some pundits arguing they would have helped this team, United are comfortable with Lammens as the choice.
MUTV presenter Mark Sullivan explained: “We could have paid [Gianluigi] Donnarumma the £350,000 a week he’s earning at [Manchester] City, or attracted World Cup winner Emi Martinez from Villa through a high wage.
“But no, they’ve gone a different route: a 23-year-old with room for growth, and someone who we can build a defence in front of.”
Former United defender Wes Brown believes Lammens can be a long-term option, and he believes the club’s recruitment department deserve credit for signing him from Royal Antwerp.
Brown said: “He’s done really well, and they’ve properly done the homework… he probably wouldn’t have been the fans’ first pick.”
