Speaking to the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Cunha was asked how interim head coach Carrick has ‘improved’ his playing style since he replaced Ruben Amorim.
“It’s beautiful,” he said.
“It’s beautiful what he say to us. He has had so many successful links with the club.
“It’s beautiful how everyone takes little parts from him and try to be successful like he was [as a player].”

The Red Devils have appeared as a transformed side under Carrick, who will serve as Man Utd interim boss for the remainder of the 2025-26 Premier League season.

Carrick narrowly avoided the first defeat of his reign on Tuesday, with Benjamin Sesko coming to Man Utd’s rescue against West Ham at the London Stadium.
