Manchester United United’s players have been posting on social media following the 3-2 victory over Bodo/Glimt.
Isn’t it nice to experience a Manchester United win again? The international break has meant it there were 18 days between the victory over Bodo/Glimt, and the win over Leicester City back on November 10.
For Mason Mount, it has been a little longer wait. This was his first start since August. The last time he started a game United won, it was the opening game of the season against Fulham.

Mason Mount makes return
Mason Mount had an industrious performance in the final third, providing a threat whenever he got on the ball inside the Bodo/Glimt box.
He hit the crossbar with one shot, and if not for a desire to manage his fitness, he would have stayed on the pitch long beyond his 58th minute substitution.
Mount posted on social media following the win, writing simply, “Back in action.”

There was a response to Mount’s message from his close pal and Premier League rival Declan Rice. And there was another ‘applause’ emoji from young United talent Godwill Kukonki.
Kukonki, 16, has been training with the Manchester United first team under Ruben Amorim, and his message shows how well he has been integrating with the group.
Mount and United’s stars have evidently taken him under their wing, and he is equally happy to see the senior stars like Mount make big personal steps forward.
Rasmus Hojlund thrilled with scoring brace
Another player who inevitably posted on social media was goalscorer Rasmus Hojlund, who doubled his tally for the season from two to four. He also contributed his first assist.
It was his first brace at Old Trafford since the double against Galatasaray last season, this time a 3-2 win rather than a defeat.
Hojlund posted simply: “It just never gets old.”
It’s a sight Manchester United fans could get used to as well. The team has struggled to score goals this season.
Ruben Amorim enjoyed considerable success with Viktor Gyokeres at Sporting – and United hope he can have the same impact with Hojlund.
He is off to a great start. A brace on his first start under Amorim is a serious statement of intent.
