Mason Greenwood contract
Manchester United did not cancel Mason Greenwood’s contract when the allegations were made against him. He has remained on the club’s books.
Mason Greenwood’s contract at Manchester United runs until June 2025. United have an option to extend this to June 2026.
He signed a contract extension in February 2021. The Mail reports he earns £75,000 per week.
Nike dropped him as a sponsored athlete last year. He was also removed by EA Sports from the FIFA video games, The Athletic reported.
He is still assigned Manchester United’s number 11 shirt. The club did not re-distribute the squad number to another player.
Greenwood made his Manchester United debut in 2019 under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and also featured under interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
He has made 129 appearances for the club, and he has also represented England once, in September 2020.
