It is one year since Marcos Rojo signed permanently with Boca Juniors after leaving Manchester United.
The former Manchester United defender has absolutely no regrets about making the switch.
BBC Sport report an undisclosed fee was agreed for Rojo last February, with the Red Devils simply pleased to get him off the books.

He had not played for United since December 2019, going on a loan to Estudiantes where he played just one match, and then playing 45 minutes of one under-23 game in late 2020.
Rojo has shaken off many of his injury issues to become a regular for Boca Juniors and this week celebrated his one year anniversary at the Argentine giants.
Rojo’s first year
Rojo wrote in an Instagram post: “A day like today but a year ago I arrived at @bocajrsoficial Personally, I assumed a huge challenge, knowing the responsibility and commitment that wearing these colors meant! Today I can say that I made the right decision… And there are still many more to come!”
Over the past year Rojo has made 30 appearances for Boca Juniors, scoring one goal. He hit the headlines last October after picking up a red card after just 16 minutes in the derby with River Plate, picking up two bookings.
The big success saw Boca Juniors win the Copa Argentina this past December. Boca beat Talleres on a penalty shootout, with Rojo stepping up first to score his spot-kick.

The 31-year-old saw his side finish fifth in Argentina’s top flight last season, and bowed out in the Copa Libertadores round of 16.
Rojo won both trophies earlier in his career at Estudiantes, before moving to Spartak Moscow, Sporting, and then Manchester United.
The defender won the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League with United and made 122 appearances between 2014 and 2021.
He has no regrets over his departure, and he probably wishes he made it sooner. Leaving last January was overdue and clearly in everybody’s interests. It is good to hear he is happy and back playing football regularly again.
