Manchester United are assessing the fitness of key players ahead of the game with Brentford at the weekend.
Manuel Ugarte played for Uruguay against Ecuador in a World Cup qualifier which kicked off in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Ugarte limped off late in the game, before flying straight back to England and returning to Manchester United.
Ugarte was not part of the Manchester United training session on Thursday, which saw Noussair Mazraoui, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo return.

Manuel Ugarte latest
Manuel Ugarte was back at Carrington. However, he was simply taking part in a separate ‘recovery session’.
This was attributed to his late international fixture, rather than an injury.
Ugarte will be assessed by the medical staff and Erik ten Hag may provide an update in his press conference at 2pm on Friday.
United midfield options
Manchester United without Kobbie Mainoo for the rest of the month due to injury.
This should not prompt United to rush Ugarte back before he is ready, if he is not passed fit. That decision must be taken on it’s own merit.
United have Casemiro and Christian Eriksen available, along with Toby Collyer and if really needed, Dan Gore.
Bruno Fernandes could also drop back into a deeper role – but he will be suspended for the Fenerbahce game.
Ugarte will be needed, United just have to be smart, and not play him if he is not 100 per cent.
