Manchester United wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho led the way in a dramatic draw with Galatasaray.

Alejandro Garnacho netted his first ever Champions League goal to open the scoring in a 3-3 draw in Turkey.

It was his second goal in as many games, showing how his confidence is flying. He followed it up by mimicking another of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s celebrations, gesturing to the Galatasaray fans to calm down.

This further infuriated the home crowd, leading to a teammate to try to diffuse the situation.

Antony gestured to Galatasaray fans

Manchester United winger Antony actually did try to calm down the Galatasaray fans, with a gesture after Garnacho’s goal.

While his Manchester United teammates gathered around Garnacho, Antony gestured an apology towards the Turkish crowd, on behalf of his over-exuberant young teammate, who had also angered Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.

His actions were noted by Turkish outlets Fanatik and Milliyet, which reported: “Antony returned to the stands and apologised to the fans with hand gestures.”
