Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho is celebrating scoring his first ever Champions League goal.
Fresh off his starring role for Manchester United at the weekend with a majestic overhead kick, Alejandro Garnacho scored the opener in a decisive Champions League tie.
Garnacho put Manchester United 1-0 up in an dramatic away clash with Galatasaray, with Red Devils fans enduring another topsy-turvy high scoring Champions League battle.
He finished a good team move after a pass from Bruno Fernandes, taking a touch before firing the ball into the roof of the net.

Alejandro Garnacho follows Lionel Messi
The first half goal was Alejandro Garnacho’s first ever Champions League goal. This is his first season playing in the competition, and only his second start.
In doing so, Garnacho became the second youngest player from Argentina to score a Champions League goal, after Lionel Messi, per BBC Sport.
Garnacho scored his goal at 19 years and 151 days, while Lionel Messi netted his at 18 and 131 days, way back in 2005.
Manchester United did not give Garnacho the chance to beat that record, although he did score in the Europa League last season – from a Cristiano Ronaldo assist.
Second to Messi was good company for Garnacho to share with his international teammate, and shows his high potential.
However… his time in second place did not last long at all, just a couple of hours.
Nico Paz overtakes Alejandro Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho is not the only rising star in Argentina. Last night a new talent announced himself to the Champions League, with Nico Paz scoring in Real Madrid’s 4-2 victory over Napoli.
Nico Paz is 19 years old and two months, moving behind Messi, making Garnacho the third youngest Argentine to score in the Champions League.
Scott McTominay found the scoresheet too
Manchester United’s third goal of the game against Galatasaray came from midfielder Scott McTominay, his fourth club strike of the season.
It was notable because this was McTominay’s first ever Champions League goal, on his 21st appearance in the competition, long overdue for the 26-year-old.
