You just cannot keep Bruno Fernandes down. Even on a quiet night, he manages to pop up with a game changing contribution.
With United’s match with Wolves drifting out for a goalless draw, Fernandes conjured a chance out of nothing with a defence splitting pass to find Marcus Rashford in space.
Rashford scored with a little help of a deflection and finally broke Wolves’ resolve. It took until the 93rd minute, and could be a big three points for United.

This was a moment which summed this United side up, and Bruno Fernandes in particular.
The Portuguese star is unstoppable at present. He has 14 goals this season and nine assists.
In the league alone he has 10 goals and seven assists, from 15 appearances, contributing more than a goal contribution on average per game.
Testing game for Fernandes
It was a show of trust from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to give Fernandes all 90 minutes again. He showed signs of needing a rest, but the manager stuck with him. Eventually it paid off.
Fernandes should have scored in the first half, spurning a good cross from Mason Greenwood.
He created three chances and managed 88 touches, but it was a quite inconsistent display against a dogged Wolves defence.
To see Fernandes then pop up and produce a moment of magic, made it all worth the wait.
Even on a night where the team were disappointing and Fernandes barely stood out, he managed to leave the pitch at the final whistle as the game changing hero.
