Manchester United will put the 2025/26 campaign down as a successful one, and the transfer business done in 2025 played a massive part.
In particular, Senne Lammens has been an absolute revelation, making the goalkeeper position his own and fixing the position that has been a problem for years at Manchester United.
Lammens won the signing of the season award for his immense debut season, recognised for his season-changing ability, having arrived as a very under-the-radar signing.
Over the course of his debut season, Lammens was praised by Edwin van der Sar among plenty of others, including Peter Schmeichel. Now, the result of his brilliance sees his valuation skyrocket.

How much is Senne Lammens worth now?
Man Utd got a real bargain… how much of a bargain?
Senne Lammens sees £27m value rise for Manchester United
After the disaster that was Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir, United have struck gold with Lammens.
But they almost didn’t, as Ruben Amorim wanted Emi Martinez instead. But luckily, United listened to Tony Coton and signed Lammens as a data signing.
Lammens cost United just £18m, which now looks like a complete bargain.
To illustrate the bargain Lammens was, CIES has now issued his updated transfer value 10 months after the transfer, and it sees a drastic 150% rise.
The report finds that Lammens is now worth £45.5m, a huge rise of £27.5m from what United paid last September.

This puts Lammens into elite conversation as the third most valuable goalkeeper in world football behind only Gianluigi Donnarumma and Joan Garcia.
Crazily, this is after a season in which Lammens only took over from week eight and kept only eight clean sheets. So next season, if he can keep 15 or so, he could quickly become right up there alongside the other two.
At 23, Lammens is only going to get better.

Senne Lammens isn’t far off best in the Premier League conversations
While Lammens is the third most valued in the world, this list was absent David Raya, who is 30 years old, explaining his absence.
Outside of Raya, Lammens is in the best of the rest bracket right now, and next season, he will want to push himself into the same bracket as the Spanish shot stopper.
Last season, Raya kept a miraculous 19 clean sheets, aided by Arsenal’s timid play style, but it demonstrates how far Lammens has yet to go.
But he will believe he can do it next season.
In his debut campaign, Lammens conceded 39 goals, but a lot of them were strikes that were simply unsaveable, with only one being through fault of his own against Liverpool with a poor pass.
Lammens was one of the best for goals prevented in the entire league, and continuing this next season would see him considered among the best, while the chances of conceding so many worldies are minimal.
