There were several standout performers as Manchester United beat Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.
Sunday’s 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest will mostly be remembered as Casemiro’s farewell match at the Theatre of Dreams before his contract expires in the summer.
But there were other storylines within the match, including Bruno Fernandes equalling the assist record and Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha scoring their 10th goals of the season in their debut campaigns.
There were plenty of players to choose from in the Man of the Match poll, but United fans on TalkingPoints agreed on their winner.

Man United Man of the Match vs Nottingham Forest
Via TalkingPoints, over 1,000 fans voted on their Man of the Match performance and it was (perhaps unsurprisingly) Bruno Fernandes who came out on top.
Fernandes earned 63% of the vote, crowning him as United’s best player on the same day he matched the assist record.
Goalscorer Matheus Cunha finished second in the poll with just over 10% of the vote, while Lisandro Martinez also earned a podium position with 7% of votes.

Other readers described his performance as “excellent” and “amazing” with others pointing out the significance of his 20th assist of the season.
