Facundo Pellistri has clinched his move to Granada, with Manchester United announcing his departure.
Manchester United have confirmed Facundo Pellistri has left the club on loan until the rest of the season.
The club has announced he has joined Granada, following two previous spells on loan at Alaves.
It is a little disappointing to see the winger join a relegation threatened side, which feels like a repeat of his previous spells. He might have been better off joining a team where he would see more possession, and chance of winning games – but he is simply desperate to play.

Facundo Pellistri returning to Spain from Manchester United
They may be limping along towards the bottom of the table – five points adrift of safety following Monday’s 2-0 defeat to a Mason Greenwood-inspired Getafe – but Facundo Pellistri may fancy his chances of adapting pretty quickly to life in Andalusia.
And not just because he already has over 30 La Liga appearances under his belt, having represented Deportivo Alaves from January 2021 to the summer of 2022.
The former Penarol starlet will be welcomed with open arms by Granada’s existing Uruguayan contingent.
Defender Brian Mendez and forward Matias Arezo already know Pellistri from international duty, with the latter admitting that he has spoken to the 22-year-old ahead of his mid-season switch.
“Yes, we have talked,” Arezo tells El Observador.
Pellistri has become the tenth player to leave Man United on loan this month, following in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek. Hannibal Mejbri is already in Spain, having joined Sevilla.
Pellistri will, of course, be hoping to make a better first impression than Hannibal did down the road in Seville, the tenacious Tunisian left out of the squad for Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Osasuna after a very public dressing down by coach Quique Sanchez Flores.
Pellistri’s agent not happy with Ten Hag
Agent Egardo Lasalvia, meanwhile, has not exactly been complimentary of Erik ten Hag’s treatment of Pellistri, especially after the youngster was left on the bench for the FA Cup clash with Newport County.
“Whether he returns to Manchester in the middle of the year will depend on the performance he shows (at Granada). If Ten Hag continues (and avoids the sack), it’s going to be difficult,” Lasalvia tells Sport 890.
“(Ten Hag) hasn’t used him, valued him, or treated him like a professional.”
