Manchester United have included promising young defender Harry Amass in a first team training session.
Erik ten Hag put the Manchester United first team squad through their paces on Wednesday, and as he often likes to do, included a handful of youngsters as part of the session.
One very notable name, wearing the number 70 training kit, was talented left-back Harry Amass.
United’s squad were stepping up preparations for this Sunday’s Premier League game at Aston Villa.

Manchester United fans have high hopes for Harry Amass
Manchester United signed Harry Amass in the summer from Watford. The young defender is an England youth international.
He has been a regular this season for Manchester United’s under-18s side, who have won 14 games out of 14 in the league this season so far.
At the weekend the team beat Arsenal 4-2 in the Premier League Cup quarter-finals, with Harry Amass one of the star performers.
We reported how United fans on social media were blown away by Amass’ performance in the win, lauding him as a future star.
Left-back is an interesting position for Manchester United, with Luke Shaw missing time with two spells out injured this season, while Tyrell Malacia has missed the entire campaign through injury.
Sam Mather and Toby Collyer also in training
Also spotted in training were youngsters Toby Collyer and Sam Mather, given their chance to impress the manager and mix with the senior stars.
Collyer is a defensive midfielder who signed from Brighton in 2022 and has been part of the under-21 side this season.
Mather is a winger who was a FA Youth Cup winner in 2022, and recently scored four goals in the under-21s 4-2 win over Norwich.
He is currently on loan at Rochdale, however, under terms of the loan agreed on deadline day, he can still train with Manchester United and play in under-21 games.
