Harry Amass to Manchester United
This is a deal to add to Manchester United’s academy, rather than the first team squad.
Manchester United have been linked to Harry Amass since March, when the The Evening Standard reported the Red Devils were winning the race for his signature.
Chelsea were also reported to have been interested in the talented prospect, who plays at left-back.
Amass has represented England at under-15s and under-16s level and featured in Watford’s FA Youth Cup squad this past season.
He made the bench for Watford’s first team FA Cup tie with Reading earlier this year when he was just 15.
Amass turned 16 in March and is the first youth team signing Manchester United have made this summer.
United recently signed strikers Gabriele Biancheri from Cardiff and Louie Bradbury from Shrewsbury Town earlier in 2023.
