Manchester United sold Hannibal Mejbri to Burnley over the summer but the midfielder now finds himself in hot water.
Manchester United splashed more than £180million on summer signings in an effort to back Erik ten Hag.
That hasn’t gone well; Ten Hag was sacked in October and replacement Ruben Amorim has admitted United could be in a relegation battle.
United did though rake in more than £80million in player sales with add-ons included.
Many of those players were young prospects such as Willy Kambwala, Facundo Pellistri, Maxi Oyedele and Will Fish.
Then there is Hannibal Mejbri, who once looked so bright but found himself surplus to requirements after a dismal loan spell with Sevilla.

Hannibal Mejbri in hot water at Burnley
United sold Mejbri to Burnley over the summer with the Clarets seeking an instant return to the Premier League.
The Tunisian brought in around £5.4million with add-ons potentially taking the price to the region of £9.4million.
United also hold a 50% sell-on clause in the deal, so will be looking for Hannibal to shine at Turf Moor.
Burnley boss Scott Parker hailed Hannibal after his debut but he has largely been in and out of the starting XI this season.
Hannibal came on as a 69th-minute substitute against Stoke City on New Year’s Day but was sent off less than 20 minutes later.
Hannibal appeared to stamp on Stoke defender Junior Tchamadeu and was given his marching orders.
Burnley ended up drawing 0-0 and lost any kind of late momentum as Hannibal’s moment of madness cost the Clarets a chance at three points.
Scott Parker on Hannibal
Burnley boss Parker has unsurprisingly slammed Hannibal for his action against the Potters.
Speaking to the Burnley Express, Parker admitted that Hannibal has completely let his team and the Burnley staff down.
Parker noted that Hannibal is ‘devastated’ but doesn’t want to take the fiery streak away from his game.
Parker added that Hannibal ‘stepped over that line’ against Stoke and wants to help him grow from his error.
“He’s let us down today,” said Parker.
“He’s let the team down, he’s let myself down, he’s let the staff down. He understands that.
“He’s devastated but I will deal with him and deal with that situation. But he’s a young player still in development. He’s a player that is always on the line and I would never want to take that out of him because that makes him the player he is.
“But today he’s stepped over that line and we will deal with it, show where he’s gone wrong and I will help him through that,” he added.
United fans will hope to see Hannibal grow and develop at Burnley but these moments certainly need to be eradicated from his game.
