Manchester United have some of the best talents across the world in the ranks and this often sees youngsters called up by their nations.
Despite Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s slant against the academy, the U18s and U21s are packed with talented footballers right now who have serious first-team potential.
What often sets players apart therefore is whether they are getting recognition from the international set-up. This was why it was so huge that Shea Lacey was drafted into first-team training during his last England call-up, showing Manchester United that he really is that good.
During the U20 World Cup earlier this season, James Overy impressed for Australia after getting the call-up.
Now, with the U17 World Cup close to getting underway, one United talent has gotten a call-up for England.

Bendito Mantato gets England U17 call-up for World Cup
The U17 World Cup gets underway at the beginning of November with England taking on Venezuela, Haiti and Egypt in the group stages.
Now, ahead of the tournament in Qatar, England have announced the squad on the FA website, with one Manchester United player involved.
This being winger and full-back Bendito Mantato, with the 17-year-old getting the number 16 in the squad.
During the last international break, Mantato earned rave reviews for England, shining at left-back which seems to be his new position.
This will see Mantato out of the United academy team likely until the start of December, depending on how England perform.
Ruben Amorim will be watching Bendito Mantato closely at U17 World Cup
Last season, Mantato was on the cusp of making his debut for United, even featuring during pre-season.
However, this season, Mantato’s chances of a United debut have taken a step back with the teenager being used primarily as a full-back instead of winger in Travis Binnion’s side.
Despite this, Mantato is still in and around the United first-team which means Amorim will be keeping an eye on how his youngster is coping in Qatar.
Mantato still has a really bright future at United, and a brilliant U17 World Cup would slingshot him right back into the contention for becoming one of the next few academy debutants.
