- Southampton 1-0 View post
Manchester United’s U16s are involved in the 2025 Super Cup NI final tonight against Southampton.
Ever since the 1980s, Manchester United have been sending young teams to Northern Ireland in the summer for the Milk Cup. In recent years the name has been changed to the Super Cup NI.
United greats like David Beckham, Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville featured in the competition as youth players, before embarking on senior careers at Old Trafford and becoming club legends.
This summer is no different as United have sent another young side to the competition.
United started the Super Cup NI with a 3-0 win over West Cork, with Wayne Rooney’s son being a standout performer.
They backed that up on Tuesday with a 2-0 win over Rangers thanks to a Douka Nkoto brace.
Tonight they take on Southampton in the Super Cup NI final at the Coleraine Showgrounds.
