Manchester United’s position has been made apparent over how they will handle one of Ruben Amorim’s summer signings at Old Trafford, according to stunning reports.
Ineos backed Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim in the summer by bringing in five new signings to Manchester United before the transfer window closed in September.
Matheus Cunha first arrived at Old Trafford from Wolves in June before United signed Diego Leon from Cerro Porteno and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford in July.
Joining Matheus Cunha, Diego Leon and Bryan Mbeumo at United ahead of the start of the 2025-26 Premier League season was none other than Benjamin Sesko.
Benjamin Sesko completed his move to United in August, while the Red Devils completed their stunning deadline-day transfer of Senne Lammens in September.

Where Man Utd stand on Diego Leon after the Paraguayan wonderkid’s Old Trafford arrival
Manchester United had agreed to sign Diego Leon from Paraguayan outfit Cerro Porteno back in January when the Red Devils full-back was only 17 years old.
Leon turned 18 years old in April when he was at Cerro Porteno and he finally left his native homeland and completed his transfer to United in the summer.
The former Cerro Porteno talent featured on the pre-season tour with Ruben Amorim’s United first-team squad and secured important minutes for his side.
Leon is part of the United youth academy and the left-back, who can also play as a left wing-back, is continuing his development and is seen as a long-term prospect.
According to GiveMeSport, United have a ‘clear’ plan for the Paraguayan defender and are ready to provide ‘time’ for Leon to ‘find his feet’ in England.
The news outlet claims that the Red Devils are eager for the United wonderkid to ‘develop naturally’ ahead of making ‘any step towards senior involvement.’

Leon remained at Old Trafford in the summer and was not sent out on loan, with the United wonderkid expected to play second fiddle to Patrick Dorgu in the long term.
GiveMeSport added that the United defender has been ‘settling in well’ at Old Trafford and Leon has had a ‘professional start to his time’ at the Red Devils.
It is believed that the United full-back is ‘enjoying the experience’ of being in England with the club and is ‘liking everything about life’ at Old Trafford.
Leon is also receiving support from United in finding his footing in England and United midfielder Casemiro has taken him ‘under his wing’ in a supporting role.
