Fernandes finished second in the poll in the eyes of United fans, with the Red Devils midfielder securing 23 per cent of the votes that were cast after the match.
The United skipper was overshadowed by the impact of Portugal teammate Diogo Dalot, who came out on top as Man of the Match with 20 per cent of the vote.

Fernandes finished a distant fourth to Amad Diallo in the TalkingPoints readers’ poll and secured only 9.07 per cent of the vote cast by United fans after the match.
