Jose Mourinho wants to become the manager of Manchester United again.
A recent report states that Jose Mourinho has ‘made it his mission’ to return to Manchester United in the future if the opportunity arises.
Mourinho was previously in charge of AS Roma but was sacked by the Italian club after a seriously poor Serie A campaign.
Now, he has his next footballing venture in his sights – which in his eyes is a return to Old Trafford.

Manchester United fans all agree about Jose Mourinho return
It is claimed Mourinho is keen to work with Manchester United’s new investors Ineos, headed up by billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Fans have swarmed to X to react to this and are seemingly all in agreement about the potential appointment.
A first writes: ‘He’s past it and he’s not a long-term manager.’
‘Never ever EVER do I wanna see him managing us again oh my god,’ a fan passionately agrees.
‘No, the definition of going backwards,’ another says.
A final adds: ‘I think I’ll give up on United if he comes back.’
Around 50 ‘no thanks’ were also quoted in various Tweets. It seems Manchester United fans have spoken, Mourinho is not the answer.
Our opinion – Jose Mourinho can’t return
We agree with the fans. As exciting as parts of the Mourinho era at Manchester United were – ultimately it wasn’t the right fit then and still isn’t the right fit now.
We’re seriously not surprised he wants a United return. After being sacked by Tottenham Hotspur and Roma, Mourinho is nowhere near as highly regarded as he once was.
We also still have faith in Erik ten Hag. Sorry Jose, but you’ll have to look elsewhere.
