Manchester United have spent over £130m in total to sign both Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo this summer.
Improving the attack was a top priority this summer and Ineos responded by delivering two top Premier League stars for Ruben Amorim.
Manchester United kickstarted the window with a £62.5m deal for Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and the Brazilian is already impressing this summer.
United fans were in awe of Cunha on his debut against Leeds United, and soon fans will get to watch £65m signing Bryan Mbeumo in action in the United States after his move from Brentford was confirmed.
Including add-ons, United will pay just over £132m for both signings, but both deals have been spread out over multiple years meaning the cost this summer is not overwhelming.

How much Man United paid for Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo this summer
Both Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo now rank in the top 10 most expensive Man United transfers of all time after joining this summer.
They will both arrive with big expectations at Old Trafford, but the structure of both deals means that United haven’t actually paid out a huge amount of cash for their signatures this summer.
As per The Athletic, the £65m Mbeumo fee will be split into four instalments, meaning United have only paid out £16.25m on the Cameroon forward this summer.
United wanted to spread the Cunha fee out over multiple years, but eventually settled for three instalments paid over two years, each worth £20.85m.
Therefore, combined, United have only paid out just less than £37m this summer. It could prove a costly method later down the line, but it means Ineos can continue spending this window.
Man United’s owed transfer fees are getting out of control
Spreading the transfer fee of a player over multiple years isn’t a new technique used by clubs, in fact United have been doing it regularly.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe explained that United already spent £89m this summer on fees owed for previous signings.

Finance expert Kieran Maguire also revealed that United owe £400m in total for transfer fees for previous signings.
The Cunha and Mbeumo deals will only add to that tally. From a PSR perspective, United are spreading their costs to help save their cash reserves, but it could tighten the budget of future windows.
