Now officially a Manchester United player, Leny Yoro has given his first interview and in doing so has explained one comparison.
The newest Manchester United name is Leny Yoro and it’s still incredible to think that Ineos managed to lure him to the club.
Arguably the best teenage defender in world football, Yoro is a real coup and United will be feeling incredibly lucky to have signed him.
Yoro has already impressed fans during his debut against Rangers, while in Spain the press are claiming United have signed a player comparable to Lamine Yamal.
This isn’t the only winger Yoro has been compared with though, as he reveals in his official interview for United.

Leny Yoro admits Nani comparisons
After making his debut for United on Saturday, now Yoro has been doing his media commitments for the club and in doing so has discussed a comparison with former United attacker Nani.
Speaking with club media, Yoro explained the comparison, adding that he loved the Portuguese ace’s footballing ability.
“A lot of people compared me to Nani when I was young,” he explained, “because I was fast like him and I loved this player.
“For me, it was a target to be like him. But now this is not the same, because I’m a defender! But, yeah, this was my player.
“Before, I was a striker. So yeah, this is not the same from now. I was really fast, I was tall, so I scored a lot of goals.”
Yoro also touched on his excitement to see Kobbie Mainoo in action during the interview, sharing that Mainoo had reached out to him already.
He also added a new verdict over why moving to Old Trafford was better for his career.
Manchester United have the defender most of Europe would dream of
In signing Yoro, United have Europe’s most sought-after young defender, and in doing so will have left much of the continent envious.
Yoro becomes United’s third Golden Boy nominee in the top 10, which suggests that Ineos are quietly building the best young team in the world.
Yoro has already shown his excellence on and off the ball when he faced Rangers, with one long diagonal pass being all fans needed to get excited for what’s yet to come.
An incredible young talent who looks primed to be a starter this coming season, likely alongside Lisandro Martinez. We cannot wait to see him in action again, hopefully, he can pull out some skills reminiscent of Nani.
