Manchester United’s U18 lost for the first time in the league against Manchester City.
Adam Lawrence had led his side to a flawless campaign in the U18 Premier League this season – at least before Saturday’s outing against City.
Manchester United’s U18s had won 11 out of 11 to date in the competition. But this loss sees City go four points clear.

This game was billed as an early title decider for the United academy, and so it is a big blow to lose so convincingly. But if Lawrence can win his two games in hand, United will be top.
When the two sides met earlier this season, United walked out 2-0 winners with Gabriele Biancheri and Bendito Mantato scoring – although neither were involved today.
