Micah Richards brutally shut down Jamie Carragher after the Liverpool legend revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson is the most famous contact on his phone.

Carragher watched first-hand as Ferguson hoovered up the major silverware during the former Manchester United manager’s legendary 26-year career at Old Trafford.

Ferguson, who revealed four players he wished he managed, led United to a whopping 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League trophies.

The United legend’s time at Old Trafford also saw the Red Devils become the first English team in history to secure a continental treble in 1999.

Ferguson, who tried to sign one of Carragher’s ex-teammates, called it time on his illustrious career after leading United to their last Premier League title in 2013.

The 82-year-old Scotsman has remained an influential figure at Old Trafford after his retirement, with Ferguson often spotted watching United in action from the stands.

Richards responds to Carragher’s Ferguson admission

Carragher appeared on CBS Sports Golazo alongside fellow Sky Sports pundit Richards, former England Women defender Alex Scott and presenter Kate Abdo.

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, who was previously linked with United, appeared via a video call as they built two separate EA Sports FC 24 Team of the Year sides.

Abdo proceeded to ask who would be the most famous person they could FaceTime, with Richards immediately shouting Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

However, Carragher surprisingly admitted that Ferguson would be the most famous person whom he could FaceTime, which sparked a response from Abdo.

“Sir Alex isn’t bad,” Abdo said.

Richards, who recently dropped a hot take on Ferguson, hilariously proceeded to shut down Carragher by claiming that the United legend wouldn’t pick up.

“He won’t pick up the phone to you,” he said, with the studio erupting into laughter.

Who was Bellingham’s most famous contact?

Bellingham has made a scintillating start to life in the Spanish capital after Real Madrid signed him in a whopping £88m deal from Borussia Dortmund last summer.

United had been linked with Bellingham when he was at Dortmund and during his time with Birmingham City, but an Old Trafford move failed to materialise.

Bellingham has made 22 appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos and has scored an impressive 17 times and registered five assists in his debut season.

The 20-year-old England midfielder hilariously refused to tell Carragher the most famous person he could FaceTime before naming Louis Theroux as his pick.
