Jadon Sancho has moved to Borussia Dortmund on loan from Manchester United.
The £73m winger was reunited with his former club last week in a move that sees him join the Black and Yellow until the end of the season – with no option to buy.
Jadon Sancho has not played for Manchester United since his infamous spat with Erik ten Hag, which led to the move materialising.
He played his first match back in the Bundesliga on the weekend.

Jadon Sancho in kicker Bundesliga Team of the Week on Borussia Dortmund return
Sancho’s return to the Bundesliga went very well for the English winger, despite only playing 35 minutes, he managed to get an assist for Marco Reus as he contributed to his side’s 3-0 victory against SV Darmstadt
This led to him being included in Kicker’s Bundesliga Team of the Week, which included the likes of Jamal Musiala and Kevin Trapp.
Sancho couldn’t have dreamed of a better cameo to begin with, and a former Manchester United teammate congratulated him on his first minutes back in Germany.
Jadon Sancho had not played in 140 days
Sancho coming straight back into things and picking up where he left off for Dortmund is commendable.
The last game Sancho played before his substitute appearance for Dortmund at the weekend was United against Nottingham Forest on August 26th 2023. That means that Sancho hadn’t played for 140 days. That’s just over four months.
Who knows what the long-term future holds for Sancho at United, but his near future back at the club that made him has started tremendously.
