Manchester United star Jadon Sancho returned to first team training this week and hopes to soon get back onto the pitch for the Red Devils.
Sancho can be a major asset for the club, having signed for £73 million for the club in 2021. Under a long-term contract, he is expected to be a force in the years to come, which is why Erik ten Hag has recently taken his time to get him back to full fitness.
The young winger made his name at Borussia Dortmund, where his form persuaded Manchester United to shell out a huge transfer fee on him.
And while at Dortmund, he also caught the eye of Ineos head of football Bob Ratcliffe, brother of Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Bob Ratcliffe on Jadon Sancho
Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s firm Ineos expressed ‘formal’ intention to buy Manchester United and will enter the bidding process, the Financial Times reported.
His brother Bob runs the football division of the business at Nice and FC Lausanne, and he spoke while Sancho was at Dortmund, to praise his career decision to join the German club.
He compared him to Phil Foden, who at the time was struggling to start regularly at Manchester City.
Bob Ratcliffe told The Guardian: “Everyone is talking about Jadon Sancho, [Ethan] Ampadu, various Premier League players who are playing in the Bundesliga.
“If you look at Sancho versus Phil Foden, to my mind there is only one individual to have made the right decision there.”
Sancho was a trendsetter with his move to the Bundesliga, blazing a trail for other young English players to pursue careers abroad.
The winger is going through a testing personal period at present, but he can take some solace in that Manchester United’s potential new owners are big fans of him.
While this will only take him so far, the 22-year-old needs confidence right now. The Ratcliffe’s might end up being the ones to provide it.
