Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has called on his teammates to be “more clinical” after the Reds dropped more Premier League points.
The 1-1 draw at Burnley played out in a similar manner to Manchester United’s penalty shootout defeat to Middlesbrough.
The Reds took the lead through Paul Pogba’s first Premier League goal of the season, but failed to extend their lead despite having some glorious chances in the first half.

Ralf Rangnick’s Red Devils were punished for their sloppiness in front of goal as Jay Rodriguez scored with Burnley’s first effort on goal.
Despite bringing Cristiano Ronaldo off the bench, United were unable to reclaim the lead and dropped two vital points in the race for Champions League qualification.
Following the draw at Turf Moor, United have now dropped 11 points from winning positions this season.

Giving his immediate reaction after the game, Maguire speaking via BBC Sport said: “You have seen the first half and then the first 10 minutes in the second half we did not start well enough.
“We have to win the game and be more clinical. Everyone knows in football the second goal is the crucial one.
“We have to see it out better and not concede a goal in that moment.
“Disappointing goal to concede on our behalf. It was a last man challenge, so I did not want to make the challenge. David de Gea was close and almost made the save.”
