Harry Amass has been discussing his views of one Manchester United player after they linked up well against Real Betis.

Through this year’s pre-season, Harry Amass has been the biggest success story for Manchester United as he continues to impress after the 3-2 win against Real Betis.

From starting the tour against Rosenborg as the second choice behind Sam Murray, the 17-year-old has now not only established himself on the tour but also got his name into the conversation to play a major role this season.

Left-back is a problem position for United, with last season seeing so many injuries and Amass could be the answer that Erik ten Hag was looking for, making the need to make a big money addition obsolete.

Now, Amass has shared his views on one United player who he’s developing a solid on-field relationship with.

Harry Amass raves about Marcus Rashford

In Amass’ two starts so far in the United States, he’s been paired with Marcus Rashford on the left wing and the pair already seem to have chemistry.

Speaking in the mixed zone after his impressive game against Betis, Amass was asked by the United Stand about his thoughts on playing with Rashford down the left side, to this, he raved about his teammate.

“Yeah, of course, he’s one of the best players in the Premier League, he’s unbelievable. So playing with him is quite easy, he understands my game and he makes everything 10 times easier.”

For Amass, it is probably of huge benefit to have such an experienced and – on his day – world-class player to link up with and draw confidence from as he finds his feet in senior football.

How Amass performed against Betis

Amass started the game and lasted 62 minutes for United, which strongly indicates he is viewed as the best option right now for left-back.

In the game, he completed 19/26 passes, having 50 touches in the game. This included two passes into the final third, one of which created Amad Diallo’s goal.

Defensively Amass was also very impressive against his opponent as his FotMob stats showed.

Next up for Amass, is a meeting with Luke Shaw’s most formidable foe in Mohamed Salah which will be the biggest test yet.
