Manchester United legend Gary Neville has singled out one Red Devils star after the 1-1 Premier League draw with Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Ruud van Nistelrooy was placed in charge of the Red Devils last week after Erik ten Hag was sacked as Manchester United manager.
The 48-year-old United legend, who was part of Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff, was appointed interim manager and will be in charge until the November break.
United kicked off their run under Ruud van Nistelrooy with a 5-2 win over Leicester City in their round-of-16 Carabao Cup tie at Old Trafford last week.
Bruno Fernandes broke the deadlock for United on Sunday and opened the scoring for the Red Devils at Old Trafford in the second half.
However, Moises Caicedo’s stunning volley only minutes later cancelled out Bruno Fernandes’ opener and sealed a point for the Blues in the Premier League clash.

Neville on Man Utd star’s impact
Manchester United have struggled to return to the top of English football since legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
The Red Devils have been criticised for their transfer business and player recruitment in the aftermath of Ferguson’s departure from Old Trafford.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Gary Neville insisted that United skipper Bruno Fernandes has remained the Premier League club’s best signing in the last decade.
“Only really Bruno I can think of in 10 years has signed for the club and done more than I thought he would,” he said, as per The Daily Mirror.
“I can’t think of any other player. That’s £1.8bn spent in the last 10 years, that’s one thing that has to change.”
Neville talks Ruben Amorim at Man Utd
Ruud van Nistelrooy will lead United against PAOK in the Europa League and against Leicester City in the Premier League before the arrival of Ruben Amorim.
Ruben Amorim has agreed a deal to leave Sporting CP and succeed Erik ten Hag as United manager after the start of the November international break.
The 39-year-old Portuguese manager will arrive at Old Trafford on 11th November before taking charge of his first match against Ipswich Town on 24th November.
Neville admitted that Amorim faces a tall order with getting the “best” out of the United team and the players must “take responsibility” for their actions.
“He has to get the best out of the players,” he said.
“The players need to take responsibility for what’s happened in the last 10 years.
“The club have signed a lot of players that other clubs wanted and when those players have arrived at Manchester United they’ve deteriorated.
“Why is that? It could be the coach, it could be the players, it could be the environment is too big for them, whatever it is it has to change because if he [Amorim] doesn’t change that, he will fall the same way the rest of them have.”
