Manchester United have an academy that Ruben Amorim can rely on this coming season, with the depth of talent impressive.
Over the past few seasons, Carrington has been regularly producing players who have the ability to make an impact in the first team.
Manchester United have had Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, Chido Obi, Harry Amass, Tyler Fredricson and Toby Collyer who have all arrived onto the scene in the past three seasons to become first team players.
This trend looks likely to continue, as since taking charge of the club, Ruben Amorim has handed out three United academy debuts and this was only inside six months, which should be a clear message for other talents that they have a golden opportunity to step up.
During pre-season, several youngsters are staking their claim to join the above list, with Bendito Mantato and Shea Lacey impressing in training, as two talented youngsters who Amorim has taken a liking to.
These are two of the most eagerly anticipated players in the academy, but now one forgotten star has made his return to the first team set-up.

Ethan Williams called into Manchester United’s first team training
While not one of the most glamorous names currently in the academy, Ethan Williams is clearly rated by the club.
Once an electric winger in the academy, Williams has become something of a forgotten man, overtaken in the thinking of the head coach by younger players, but he has been given his opportunity this week.
It is according to Manchester United’s official website that Williams took part in the first team session which was filmed by club media.
Williams was actually paired with Bruno Fernandes for the drill which saw them using a speed resister with one player trying to hold back the other who was running in the opposite direction.
The report continued that there was a sustained maximum effort from the youngster. Williams spent time training with Lausanne last season which will be benefitting him in these sessions.
The teenager spent the end of last season on loan at Cheltenham, here Williams scored his first professional goals as he picked up some excellent form for the EFL side.
Williams has been tipped as being ready for United, but other clubs around Europe have taken an interest.
Ethan Williams has been linked with transfer to Europe this summer
Just over one year ago, Williams was tipped as one to watch in 2024, and therefore it is great to see the talented winger coming into his own as a player.
This has caught the eye of clubs in Europe, with Anderlecht and Club Brugge wanting to sign Williams, according to Ben Jacobs.
These clubs are known for developing young players into talents who are ready to step up into one of Europe’s top five leagues and either would be an excellent career move for Williams.
United have sold youngsters in recent years for cheaper fees, but included sell on clauses. This summer alone, United have raised over £15m from sell-on clauses, so doing similar with Williams is a win-win for both club and player potentially.
On the other hand, United may be inclined to give Williams a chance, however being a winger his role under Amorim would be a wing-back which is not a perfect fit.
