Manchester United battled back to draw 2-2 with Everton on Saturday but one youngster enjoyed a memorable day out on loan.
Another weekend, another game in which Manchester United fans are left with mixed emotions.
United drew 2-2 at Everton but were truly woeful in the first half and could have easily been out of the game against David Moyes’ side.
United at least hit back in the second half but this was another puzzling performance under Ruben Amorim.
Elsewhere though, one United talent enjoyed a memorable day as he made a huge impact on loan away from Old Trafford.

Manchester United loan talent scores stunning first senior goal
United sent a number of young players out on loan in January with Ethan Wheatley joining Walsall in League Two.
Ethan Williams joined Cheltenham Town, following Wheatley to the fourth tier.
Winger Williams registered a first senior assist just days ago and he has now followed that up with another major milestone.
Williams helped Cheltenham secure a 3-0 win at Newport County on Saturday, scoring the second goal in a comfortable victory.
The goal was a brilliant one too; Newport goalkeeper Nick Townsend made a mess of a clearance but Williams showed real quality to lob him from long range.
Teammate Sam Stubbs commented on Williams’ goal on Instagram, stating ‘he’s got a bit yenno’ as the United talent impresses.
Williams even picked up another assist for the opening goal, whipping in a pin-point cross for Matt Taylor to open the scoring.
A goal and two assists in a matter of days for Williams – this has been quite the week for him and his development.
Cheltenham Town boss on Ethan Williams
Williams will be on cloud nine after that first goal and for it to be such a stunning finish just adds to his delight.
The 19-year-old was though substituted with 20 minutes to play with boss Michael Flynn explaining his withdrawal.
Speaking to Gloucestershire Live, Flynn noted that Williams just had cramp and a dead leg but there is no lasting injury problem.
Flynn praised Williams for a ‘superb finish’ and actually knew that he would have a great chance to score because he is strong on both feet.
“He is fine, but it was a mixture of cramp and a dead leg. He is fine, completely all right now,” said Flynn.
“A superb finish. I was glad it fell to him more than anybody because he is both footed, so whichever foot it fell to, I knew he’d have a good strike on target,” he added.
Williams is clearly making a big impact in League Two right now and whilst United will be hugely impressed, thoughts may already be heading towards finding him a League One loan move for next season.
