FC Copenhagen manager Jacob Neestrup has named what Manchester United’s biggest strength is ahead of tonight’s crucial Champions League clash.

Manchester United have lost the opening two games of their Champions League campaign and anything other than a victory tonight at Old Trafford would surely spell the end of their European campaign.

Rasmus Hojlund has netted three goals in the Champions League and is the competition’s top goalscorer and the 20-year-old will need to be in top form against the Danish side, despite his current conflicted feeling ahead of the game.

Well, speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game, Neestrup named the former Sturm Graz forward as United’s biggest threat.

Neestrup on Hojlund

“The plan is we know that Hojlund is the biggest strength in the Manchester United squad, and what remains is that we have to be true to ourselves,” Neestrup said.

“I know we are not going to have the ball as much as we normally have in the Danish league, but when we have the ball we need to show that we are a proper football team. Manchester United are a team with high-speed players, and players that are top, top, level in football.”

The Danish side will certainly pose a threat at Old Trafford and by no means should they be taken lightly.

Hojlund’s influence

Despite not scoring in the Premier League in six games, the Dane has been superb for the Red Devils, in the Champions League in particular.

With three goals to his name, including a marauding run from the halfway line and an impudent dinked finish against Galatasaray, he has shown the threat that the speedy striker can offer against some of Europe’s biggest sides.

Hojlund will need to be on his a-game tonight against the Danish champions and the other United forwards, who will line up behind the 20-year-old, will have to supply the forward with the chances they need to win.
