Erling Haaland posts upset response to Jadon Sancho’s Instagram post

It appears the Haaland family are not taking Jadon Sancho’s move to Manchester United too well.

Last week after journalist Fabrizio Romano posted confirmation of Sancho’s move to United, Haaland’s dad Alf posted a profanity-led reaction on social media, while wishing the winger well.

Almost a week on and Dortmund striker Erling Haaland still seems to be upset.

Ahead of England’s Euro 2020 semi-final match with Denmark, Sancho posted a picture to his Instagram feed with a big beaming smile, showing how happy he is.

Haaland does not feel the same way, responding to Sancho’s happy message by posting a sad, crying face emoji.

Haaland was then inundated with plenty of responses from fans urging him to follow Sancho to Old Trafford if he is that upset at losing him. Hopefully he will consider it.

The pair struck up an impressive partnership in Germany, but it never felt long-term, with each of them using Dortmund as a stepping stone.

Haaland’s form tailed off last season without Sancho and you could understand him being a little anxious about keeping up the same productivity in front of goal without the England winger.

At the very least his message highlights the bond the two have, and when Haaland considers his next move, Sancho gives United’s cause to sign him extra weight, although there are no guarantees.
